Job summary

RINA is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our Plant Engineering Division. The role is based in Italy (Fano, Genoa or Rome) and involves leading I&C projects, coordinating with peers, and delivering complete engineering solutions from proposal through final reporting.

You will design instrumentation, control, safety, F&G and telecom systems, review specs, manage Capex and bid evaluations, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Master’s degree in Automation and Control Engineering or Electronics.
7+ years of consultancy experience in I&C for oil, gas and power generation (onshore/offshore).
Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad for short periods based on project needs.
Fluent in English and Italian.

Responsibilities

Execute engineering projects within the division from proposal to final reporting.
Interfacing and coordinating with clients, vendors and team members.
Develop instrumentation, control, safety, F&G and telecom system designs and documentation.
Review design documentation and perform Capex and technical bid evaluations.
Possibly lead and review activities of team members within projects.
Contribute to the Division's technical decision-making processes.
