Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced HV Turnkey Substation Sales Leader to drive growth in South & West Europe, including Switzerland, Spain, France, and more. You will shape technical and commercial proposals, engage key customers, and lead complex bids to expand market share.

The role requires an electrical engineering background, 8+ years in HV sector, strong pipeline and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel across the region. English fluency is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in HV transmission/distribution sales.
• Proven pipeline development, deal shaping and closing complex projects.
• HV substation technologies (AIS, GIS, transformers) knowledge.
• Strong influencing and strategic-thinking abilities.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel within South West Europe.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate HV turnkey substation opportunities across South & West Europe.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline with clear ownership to exceed growth targets.
• Analyze market trends and competitors to refine sales strategy.
• Engage early with TSOs, utilities, data centers to shape project requirements.
• Develop strategic account plans and act as a technical and commercial advisor.
• Lead bid preparation, internal collaboration and contract negotiations; track KPIs in CRM.
