ADAMA Ltd. in Madrid seeks an experienced Senior HR Operations Specialist to deliver end-to-end HR operations for ADAMA Iberia and ADAMA Italy (Bergamo). You will govern core HR data, support onboarding and offboarding, coordinate payroll activities, and serve as Tier 1 HR support across multiple European entities.

You will also partner with Learning and HRBPs to optimize processes, drive self-service adoption, and empower leaders with accurate data and streamlined workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary HR operations contact for ADAMA Iberia and Italy.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Operations Specialist to deliver end-to-end HR operations across ADAMA Iberia and ADAMA Italy (Bergamo), based in Madrid, supporting a combined workforce of c.150 employees across three entities. You will act as the first point of contact for operational HR matters across these entities, ensuring efficient people processes while enabling HR Business Partners to focus on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Workforce & Organizational Administration

Act as the guardian of core HR data across all covered entities. Maintain org charts and position management within SAP SuccessFactors. Execute mass data changes, process internal transfers, manage absence tracking, and maintain accurate employee e-files and document management in line with Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian requirements.

Employee Lifecycle Logistics (Onboarding & Offboarding)

Manage the practical, end-to-end logistics of the employee journey across all four entities. This includes pre-hire preparation, Day 1 system and office/plant coordination, assigning certifications, and handling all SuccessFactors termination updates and offboarding logistics.

Payroll, Time & Compensation Execution

Coordinate and support payroll-related activities in collaboration with the external payroll provider. Execute routine compensation and benefits administration, including ad-hoc salary and bonus updates, retro payments, and benefits enrollment, in coordination with local payroll providers.

Workforce Experience & Tier 1 Support

Serve as the dedicated escalation point for employee and manager HR queries across ADAMA Iberia, and ADAMA Italy. Resolve incoming tickets and actively create, update, and maintain HR knowledge articles in the self-service portal so employees can find answers faster.

Learning Operations

Partner with the global Learning design functions and local HRBPs to handle the tactical administration, logistics, and system tracking of employee training programs, including plant-specific mandatory and safety training.

Process Optimization & Manager Support

Continuously look for ways to simplify the above tasks. Train and support managers on how to use Manager Self-Service (MSS) in SuccessFactors to handle routine changes themselves, reducing manual email requests.

• Proven experience in HR operations work across European countries, ideally spanning Spain, Portugal and Italy.
• HR Processes & Data Governance: expertise with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is an advantage. You will need Master Data Management skills, while enforcing system data integrity to establish a true "Single Source of Truth".
• Operational Logistics & Human-Centric Design: Strong cross-functional coordination skills (across IT, Facilities, and local HR) designed with empathy so new hires and existing employees support during lifecycle transitions.
• Analytical Literacy & Vendor Management: High numerical accuracy for payroll/compensation execution, ability to manage external payroll providers, and a thorough understanding of Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR data privacy).
• Knowledge Management & Tech Writing: Strong capabilities in distilling complex HR policies into simple, searchable knowledge articles (QRGs and SOPs) to drive self-service adoption, alongside proficient case/ticket management.
• Process Engineering Mindset: LEAN and Agile fluency, with a track record of identifying operational bottlenecks and deploying automation (such as RPA or AI tools like SAP Joule) to constantly improve efficiencies and reclaim capacity for the business.
• Multi-country & complex stakeholder management: Capable of delivering HR support across Spain, Portugal, and Italy by balancing global process standardization with necessary regional adaptability and compliance.

Requirements

• Fluent Spanish, Italian and English are must.
• This role requires occasional travel to Bergamo (Italy) site.
• Local legal/compliance support is available for country-specific labor law matters.
• Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR administrative procedures across Italy and Spain
