WSP Spain is seeking an experienced HR Labour Specialist to support its Madrid, Santander or Valladolid offices. You will work within the People team to provide specialist labour and employment guidance, ensuring compliant people decisions across Spain.

You will advise on employment contracts, collective agreements and mobility, collaborating with HR Partners, managers and legal advisors in a dynamic, international setting. The role offers broad exposure to strategic employment initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Business Administration, Law or a related discipline.
• Approximately 10 to 15 years of experience in labour relations, employment law or related HR functions.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish employment legislation, collective bargaining agreements and labour relations practices.
• Experience managing complex employee relations cases and advising managers on labour matters.
• Knowledge of international mobility, immigration processes and employment requirements for international hires.
• Advanced digital skills and experience with HR systems and ERP platforms.
• Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Experience in complex, matrix or multinational organisations would be highly valued.

Responsabilités

• Provide internal employment law advice to HR Partners, managers and the business on interpretation and application of employment legislation, collective agreements, policies and terms of employment.
• Manage recruitment and employment, changes to terms, mobility, disciplinary matters, terminations, restructurings and reorganisations.
• Prepare and review contracts, addenda, amendments and communications, ensuring compliance with legal framework and policies; coordinate with HR, Legal, Compliance and external advisors.
• Advise on recruitment and employment of international professionals in Spain, evaluating requirements for each case.
• Coordinate international recruitment processes requiring residence/work authorisations, visas or immigration requirements with external providers.
