Sir Victor in Barcelona, Spain, is seeking a passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen with strategic vision and operational excellence. You will drive the department forward, ensuring top quality, profitability, and guest satisfaction while managing recruitment and day-to-day cooking operations.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership in hotel kitchens.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Experience in menu design and cost control.
• Proficiency with kitchen management software and purchasing tools.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, develop, and motivate the kitchen team, managing recruitment, shift scheduling and leaves.
• Design menus and ensure adherence to recipes and spec sheets; oversee daily service for quality and consistency.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and handle guest requests or concerns effectively.
• Plan, monitor and optimize inventory to prevent stockouts and reduce waste; liaise with suppliers for orders.
• Track department costs and operating expenses; communicate weekly menus and allergen info to People & Culture.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime.
