Marriott International, Renaissance Hotels in the Barcelona region, seeks a Sous Chef to assist the Sous Chef in ensuring the quality, consistency and production of areas of responsibility in kitchen. You will personally perform tasks while leading staff and managing all food related functions, working with the team to improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.

You will ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved, and you will develop and train the team

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years in culinary, F&B, or related area.
• OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or related major with 2 years experience in culinary, F&B, or related area.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises preparation and production of hot/cold items to ensure recipes/specs.
• Maintains sanitation and food standards; supervises kitchen shift operations.
• Plans daily and seasonal menu items; ensures compliance with laws and regulations (HACCP, OSHA).
• Leads kitchen staff, trains team, and develops production planning.
• Manages customer service quality and guest satisfaction in kitchen operations.
