Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a backend engineer to join the Observability Streams program. You will help build high-performing ingestion pipelines and scalable services across cloud providers, taking ownership from concept to delivery.

You will contribute to a distributed team, mentor peers, and participate in on-call rotations to maintain system reliability and performance. This role emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, and commitment to best practices.

Formación

• Strong Go skills with debugging and troubleshooting ability.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Kafka.
• Experience with Observability (tracing/metrics/logs).
• Understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems.
• Curious mindset with willingness to learn and enablement.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed team.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, deploy and maintain scalable backend features for Managed Inputs and Managed Integrations.
• Own projects from concept to delivery.
• Provide engineering support to escalated customer cases on rotation.
• Mentor peers through PR reviews and code quality improvements.
• Monitor alerts, define SLIs/SLOs, ensure system stability.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team culture across timezones.
• On-call responsibilities for owned services.
