Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Integrations Team to enable Elastic inside the AI ecosystem. You will build and maintain the MCP server, agent skills platform, and third-party integrations, working with Go and other languages while collaborating with product teams and partners.

You will contribute to the Elastic CLI, uphold quality through evals, and advocate usable developer experiences across a global, remote team. Prior Elastic experience is a bonus.

Formación

• 8+ years of software engineering experience on backend systems, services or libraries.
• Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks and understanding of LLMs, agents and MCP protocols.
• Significant recent Go experience and familiarity with other languages.
• Knowledge of client-server networking, HTTP, and RESTful APIs.
• Comfort with unfamiliar languages and contributing to diverse codebases.
• Strong software engineering practices and product thinking.

Responsabilidades

• Build and evolve the Elastic MCP server and its infrastructure, primarily in Go.
• Develop the platform for universal agent skills including authoring, publishing tooling and linting.
• Ensure correctness by evaluating shipped skills and tools rather than assuming they work.
• Design integrations to make Elastic available in third-party AI ecosystems with partners.
• Contribute to the Elastic CLI to improve developer and agent efficiency.
• Develop, maintain and support libraries and integrations related to the Elastic Stack across Go and Rust.
• Provide product thinking and defend decisions on what to build and why.
