CloudLinux is seeking an experienced backend/infra engineer to own the automated pipelines from threat intelligence to deployed protections. You will design scalable, multi-stage data pipelines with strong observability, reliability, and guardrails across a large fleet of systems.

The role emphasizes deep expertise in Python/Go/Rust, CI/CD, and system design, with remote-friendly work hours and global collaboration.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional backend / platform / infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience building multi-stage data or automation pipelines — CI/CD systems, ETL/ELT, build and release automation, job orchestration, ML/data platforms, or similar.
• Real depth in Python, Go or Rust. Depth is required and will be questioned on real projects.
• Systems design judgement and reliability engineering principles.
• Practical experience with workflow orchestration and job scheduling (Airflow, Temporal, Prefect, Dagster, Argo).
• Hands-on observability experience — Prometheus/Grafana, LGTM stack, or equivalent; designing metrics and dashboards.

Responsabilidades

• Designing, building and operating the automated pipelines described above, end to end;
• Turning fragile multi-stage batch jobs into resumable, idempotent, observable systems with explicit state machines and recovery paths;
• Defining and enforcing latency budgets and SLOs per stage;
• Building the observability layer — metrics, dashboards, alerting and health gates;
• Designing and implementing guardrails: automatic hold and rollback, blast-radius limits, kill switches;
• Making the systems low-maintenance: eliminating manual steps and reduce operational surface;
• Writing and maintaining unit and integration tests for hard-to-test logic;
• Investigating issues across ClickHouse, GitLab CI, S3/object storage, Prometheus/Grafana and third-party APIs;
• Collaborating with security analysts and Server team on architecture.
