Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Frontend Platform and Navigation squads, guiding performance, delivery and customer outcomes. You will mentor senior engineers, collaborate with Product and Design, and advance AI-enabled development across OSS and Enterprise.

You will shape developer experience, accessibility, architecture and tooling, while fostering a culture of excellence, trust and cross-team collaboration in a remote, globally distributed setting.

Formación

• Significant experience managing senior engineers, building healthy teams and developing technical leaders.
• Strong technical foundation in modern web or frontend systems.
• Track record turning ambiguous, cross-team problems into clear priorities and measurable results.
• Strong product and customer judgement, connecting engineering investments to outcomes.
• Clear, concise written communication in a remote, globally distributed organisation.
• Appreciation for open-source development and Open Source roots.
• Practical experience using AI and automation in leadership work.

Responsabilidades

• Be accountable for the frontend squads' performance and deliverables.
• Own hiring and team planning across squads.
• Lead discovery with customers, community members and internal users to shape roadmaps.
• Partner with Product, Design and engineering leaders to set priorities and resolve dependencies.
• Own delivery from discovery through rollout and measurement; manage risks.
• Use AI to inform roadmap and resourcing decisions and streamline coordination.
• Lead adoption of AI/automation across engineering workflows.
• Set engineering direction for frontend foundations and navigation.
