Grafana Labs is hiring a Staff-level Backend Engineer to build the first production services for a context layer management system. You design and ship core backend architecture powering ingestion, context storage, and API access for an AI-native data intelligence system.

This early-stage, high-autonomy role offers a collaborative culture on a remote-first team, with opportunities to evolve the role as the project matures and scales into SaaS.

Formación

• Production-grade software systems experience.
• Experience with AI technologies and practical ML/LLM workflows.
• Ability to deliver reliable software in production environments.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid experimentation.

Responsabilidades

• Build core backend services for context ingestion and retrieval.
• Define multi-tenant SaaS architecture with isolation and quotas.
• Develop agent-facing APIs and integratons for AI tools.
• Instrument services with metrics, logs, and dashboards for observability.
• Collaborate across product, infra, and data teams to ship production features.
• Own the design decisions and drive architecture toward production readiness.
