Job summary

SD Worx is seeking a Senior Mail Engineer to join our Workplace Services Engineering team. You will own the enterprise mail environment, working with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online, mail security solutions, and mass mailing platforms to deliver secure, reliable messaging for a global workforce.

You will collaborate with security, infrastructure, and product teams to drive improvements, governance, and documentation while supporting international scale and cross-country initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with enterprise messaging platforms and mail infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online administration.
• Solid understanding of mail flow, connectors, transport rules, and hybrid messaging environments.
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex mail delivery, routing, and authentication issues.
• Hands-on expertise with SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS, and secure SMTP.
• Experience with secure email gateways and anti-spam/malware protection solutions.
• Knowledge of mass mailing platforms, sender reputation, and email deliverability best practices.
• Experience providing third-line support within incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent English communication; ability to explain technical concepts to varied stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile and international environments.
• Ability to work independently with multiple priorities and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the enterprise mail infrastructure for an international workforce.
• Operate Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online mail services, including mail flow, connectors, and transport rules.
• Strengthen the security posture of the mail environment using SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS, and secure SMTP.
• Manage email security solutions including anti-spam and anti-phishing protections.
• Support bulk/mass mailing platforms, ensuring deliverability and sender reputation.
• Provide third-line support for complex mail delivery, routing, and authentication issues.
• Contribute to standardization and documentation of the mail landscape.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, security/infrastructure teams, vendors, and support teams.
• Support projects, upgrades, migrations, and service improvement initiatives.
• Act as liaison for integrations between mail platforms and other enterprise services.
