Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid area) seeks a Senior Software Platform Integration Engineer to drive the integration and standardization of embedded software for multicore computing platforms. You will work on RTOS, DO-178C certification, and architecture for safety-critical avionics systems.

The role requires deep C programming for real-time embedded systems, experience with ARINC-653, and hands-on board bring-up.

Formación

• Advanced proficiency in C for real-time embedded systems and DO-178C context.
• Experience with GNU toolchains and modern/legacy compilers (GCC, Clang/LLVM, Diab).
• Strong ARM/SoC architecture knowledge with MMU, caches, and pipelining concepts.
• expertise in ARINC-653 safety-critical RTOS and DO-178C/DO-330.
• Familiarity with Python for automation and data formats (JSON/XML).

Responsabilidades

• Drive software platform integration and architecture for multisystem computing platforms.
• Lead design and validation activities per RTCA DO-178C up to DAL-A.
• Develop standardized APIs and platform support software across RTOS and middleware.
• Collaborate on certification activities with authorities and suppliers.
• Prototype and bring up new target boards for multicore architectures.
