Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe is seeking a Senior Software Platform Integration Engineer to lead the computing platforms strategy for multicore avionics systems. You’ll drive software platform architectures, ensure DO-178C compliance up to DAL-A, integrate RTOS BSPs and middleware, and collaborate with certification authorities.

The role requires strong C programming, ARM/SoC familiarity, and experience with ARINC-653.

Formación

• Experience with C for real-time embedded systems.
• Strong RTOS and ARINC-653 knowledge.
• Avionics data buses: ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553B, CAN; modern networks: AFDX/TSN.

Responsabilidades

• Elicit and maintain Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) for onboard safety-critical computers.
• Design, develop, and perform V&V of software artifacts in compliance with RTCA DO-178C (up to DAL-A).
• Define full software platform architectures for multisystem computing platforms.
• Provide common APIs and standardized access to platform support software (RTOS, BSP, IO, middleware).
• Collaborate in certification processes with authorities and stakeholders.
• Perform trade-off analyses, benchmarking, and board bring-up for new targets.
