Airbus Defence And Space is seeking an Onboard Safety-Critical Software Engineer & Leader (Military Derivatives) in Getafe, ES. You will contribute to embedded airborne systems, drive DO-178 B/C activities, and lead verification for safety-critical computers.

The role requires deep expertise in software development, C/C++, RTOS, and DO-178B/C certification processes. You will collaborate across the Aerial Delivery Domain to define requirements, architecture, and integration testing.

Formación

• A degree in computer science, software engineering or similar is required.
• At least 10 years of experience in similar roles is expected.
• Advanced level in English is required.
• Demonstrated experience in software development and verification.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and RTOS environments.
• Experience with software certification processes applying DO-178B/C.
• C/C++ programming and related toolchains are essential.
• Familiarity with Worst-Case Execution Time analysis is a plus.

• Define Software Architecture for Onboard Safety Critical Computers
• Lead Hardware/Software Integration Testing for Onboard Safety Critical Computers
• Develop Software DO-178 B/C for Onboard Computers and support verification
• Consider safety, quality, performance, cost, environmental, operational and industrial requirements
