IQVIA is seeking a Director/Senior Director of Business Development for Clinical Solutions in the EMEA region. The role calls for a senior commercial leader with deep clinical development expertise and a consultative client approach to drive growth across mid-size pharmaceutical accounts.

You will shape long-term partnerships, lead cross-functional teams, and position IQVIA’s RDS capabilities as a catalyst for innovation and speed in drug development.

Formación

• 10+ years of business development in CROs, with large-scale clinical programs.
• Proven success managing and growing strategic accounts in mid-size pharma.
• Strong knowledge of global clinical development and regulatory pathways.
• Executive presence with strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with portfolio planning, asset prioritization, and long-range forecasting.
• Financial acumen to structure deals balancing client value with commercial viability.

Responsabilidades

• Achieve annual sales targets across pharmaceutical accounts.
• Maintain knowledge of IQVIA services for cross-sell opportunities.
• Prospect and develop new business with potential customers.
• Execute comprehensive sales plans for target accounts.

• Monitor competition, pricing, and awards considerations.
• Manage pipeline and forecast opportunities.
• Develop strategies for each account.
• Coordinate with contracts and proposals to develop proposals.
• Lead CRM reporting to track sales activities.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior sales staff.
