BVGroup is seeking a Senior Digital Workplace Engineer to design, deliver and support the Microsoft 365-based workplace. This senior role acts as the top escalation point for Digital Workplace services, guiding L1/L2 teams and driving improvements.

You will work across Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Azure Virtual Desktop and related platforms, ensuring security, reliability and a seamless employee experience worldwide.

Formación

• Proven experience in a Digital Workplace, Microsoft 365 or IT Operations engineering at senior level.
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID and Defender.
• Experience administering VMware vSphere, Hyper-V and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Good understanding of endpoint security, patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure workloads.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell; Power Platform advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with technical and non-technical teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach focused on resilience and service quality.

Responsabilidades

• Act as 3rd-line technical authority for Digital Workplace services and escalate complex incidents.
• Design, implement and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Manage and enhance endpoint management with Intune across multiple OS estates.
• Administer identity and access management using Entra ID and CA policies.
• Support and maintain VMware, Hyper-V and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Provision and migrate Azure infrastructure and cloud workloads.
• Manage core infrastructure services like DNS, DHCP, RADIUS/NPS and monitoring.
• Ensure security, patching, data retention and audit readiness.
• Create automation with PowerShell/Power Platform and maintain knowledge bases.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to L1/L2 support teams.

Purpose Of The Role

As a Senior Digital Workplace Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, delivering and supporting the technologies that power our modern workplace. This is a senior, 3rd-line (L3) engineering position: you will act as the highest point of technical escalation for Digital Workplace services, resolving complex incidents that L1 and L2 teams cannot, and providing technical leadership and mentoring to those teams.

Working across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity services, virtualisation and cloud platforms, you will help ensure our digital workplace remains secure, reliable and efficient.

You will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners to drive continuous improvement, support business-critical services and enhance the overall employee technology experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as the 3rd-line (L3) technical authority for Digital Workplace services, you will own complex incident and problem resolution escalated from L1/L2 teams, performing root-cause analysis, and working closely with vendors and internal teams where required.
• Designing, implementing and maintaining Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Managing and enhancing endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune, including device provisioning, compliance policies and application deployment across Windows, macOS and ChromeOS estates.
• Administering identity and access management services, including Entra ID, Conditional Access, SSO and authentication security controls.
• Supporting and maintaining virtualisation platforms, including VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V and Azure Virtual Desktop environments, including migration/modernization work between platforms.
• Provisioning, migrating and supporting Azure infrastructure and business-critical cloud workloads.
• Managing core infrastructure services, including DNS, DHCP, RADIUS/NPS, monitoring platforms and data centre operations.
• Ensuring compliance, security and operational resilience through patch management, vulnerability remediation, data retention and audit readiness activities.
• Contributing to automation and process improvement initiatives using PowerShell, Power Platform and other tools.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, procedures and knowledge base articles to support operational excellence and knowledge sharing.
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring and knowledge transfer to L1 and L2 support teams, raising the overall capability of the wider support function.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a Digital Workplace, Microsoft 365 or IT Operations engineering role, at a senior or 3rd-line level.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Defender.
• Experience administering VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Good understanding of endpoint security, patch management and vulnerability remediation practices.
• Experience supporting Azure cloud services and infrastructure workloads.
• Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell; exposure to Power Platform is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement, operational resilience and high-quality service delivery.
• Experience with Apple Business Manager for device enrolment, app/license assignment and Apple ID management.
