MIGx AG in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Microsoft Engineer to join our Enterprise IT team to manage Microsoft-based infrastructure and cloud solutions in enterprise, hybrid and cloud environments.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience with AD/Entra ID, Azure, M365, Intune, SCCM/MECM, and security best practices. You will mentor juniors, drive PowerShell automation, and contribute to documentation.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise Microsoft environments (1000+ users).
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including hybrid identity deployments.
• Strong Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022), GPO, DNS, DHCP, PKI, file services.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune).
• Hands-on experience with endpoint management platforms (Intune, SCCM/MECM).
• Experience designing and troubleshooting hybrid Azure environments.
• Strong Microsoft security knowledge (MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, PIM).
• Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
• Experience with backup/recovery (Veeam).
• Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops or similar.
• Networking knowledge (VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, firewall).
• PowerShell scripting and automation.
• ITIL/ITSM environments (ServiceNow).
• Proven ability to create/maintain high-quality technical docs.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft Engineer to join our Enterprise IT team. The ideal candidate has a solid background working in enterprise environments and is confident managing Microsoft-based infrastructure and cloud solution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex IT initiatives (enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments).
• Act as an escalation point for complex and cross-domain issues, owning resolution end-to-end.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across Microsoft identity, endpoints, M365, networking, and hybrid integrations.
• Architect, administer, maintain and optimize Active Directory, Windows Server, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Microsoft cloud and hybrid services.
• Perform operational and infrastructure tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation and scripting solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure high standards of documentation, ticket quality, post-incident reports, and knowledge base content.
• Take technical ownership of IT projects, from design through implementation.
• Mentor, guide, and support junior and mid-level engineers.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process, security, and operational improvements.

Requirements - Must have

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise Microsoft environments (1000+ users).
• Proven experience managing and supporting large-scale Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments, including hybrid identity deployments.
• Strong experience with Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022), Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and file services.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and Intune.
• Hands-on experience with endpoint management platforms, including Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM).
• Experience designing, administering, and troubleshooting hybrid Azure environments.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft security technologies and best practices (MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, Privileged Identity Management).
• Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V).
• Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions, preferably Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Experience supporting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops or similar enterprise application delivery platforms.
• Solid networking knowledge including VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and firewall fundamentals.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience working within ITIL-based operational environments and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or similar).
• Proven ability to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Experience leading infrastructure projects and acting as a senior escalation point.

Requirements - Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, MS-102, MD-102, or MS-700.
• Experience with additional cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud).
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (PRTG, Azure Monitor, Zabbix, Datadog, etc.).
• Experience with Microsoft Defender suite (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation frameworks.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in regulated or highly compliant enterprise environments.
• Additional vendor certifications (VMware, Citrix, Veeam, ITIL).
