QTech Games is seeking a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to take full ownership of our Malaga office IT infrastructure, ensuring a seamless technical experience for all employees.

You will design, implement and maintain IT support processes, manage onboarding/offboarding, collaborate with HR and Office Management, and drive continuous improvements while making autonomous technical decisions at the Malaga site.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in IT support, progressing to senior or lead roles.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of hardware (MacOS/Windows laptops) and office networking (Wi-Fi, routers, switches).
• Experience creating or improving IT support workflows and documentation.
• Ability to work independently, manage a local site, and make high-level decisions.

We are looking for a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to take full ownership of our Malaga office IT infrastructure. In this role, you will not just resolve daily technical issues; you will be the driving force behind how we use technology in the workplace. We need a senior professional who can make independent decisions, build effective IT support processes from scratch, and constantly improve our current ways of working. You will work closely with HR and Office Management to ensure a seamless technical experience for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Office IT Ownership: Take full responsibility for the Malaga office IT infrastructure, including local networks, desk equipment, laptops, and all peripherals.
• Process Creation & Optimization: Design, implement, and maintain efficient IT support processes to guarantee quick resolution times and high employee satisfaction.
• Lifecycle Management (Joiners & Leavers): Build and manage the IT onboarding and offboarding processes. Coordinate closely with HR and Office Management to ensure new hires have everything they need from day one.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify gaps in our current IT operations and execute initiatives to upgrade our systems and tools.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the main IT point of contact and collaborate with internal teams (HR, Facilities, and Global IT) to align local operations with global standards.
• Senior Decision Making: Act with autonomy. You will have the authority to make the right technical and operational decisions for the Malaga site without needing constant supervision.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT support, with clear progression into a senior or lead role.
• Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on knowledge of hardware (MacOS/Windows laptops), office networking (Wi-Fi, routers, switches), and standard office peripherals.
• Process-Driven Mindset: Proven experience creating, implementing, or improving IT support workflows and documentation.
• Independence & Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage a local site, and make high-level decisions confidently.
• Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a history of working successfully alongside non-technical departments like HR and Office Management.
• Languages: Professional professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of Spanish is a strong advantage for local vendor management.
• Hands-on Jira Service Management experience is a strong plus.
• Availability: Ability to work fully onsite at our Malaga office.
