Gaming Innovation Group is seeking a seasoned SRE/DevOps engineer to own the reliability, scalability, and automation of our gaming platform infrastructure in Madrid.

You will monitor health, performance and capacity, improve CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with development teams to embed operability into platform design.

Formación

• 5 to 7 years of experience as SRE or DevOps and a Bachelor's in CS or equivalent.
• Proven track record with multi-node/multi-tier web apps, APIs and microservices.
• Experience with ETCD or Redis persisted key/value stores.
• Experience with CI tools such as Github Actions and Jenkins.
• Experience with CD tools such as Argo CD.
• Senior level experience with Kubernetes, Helm/Helmfile and OpenShift.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Senior level experience with RabbitMQ and Kafka.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, application, and network layers to optimize automation.
• Gain deep knowledge of systems and contribute to design and standardization across teams and services.
• Manage timely resolution of critical and complex problems meeting SLA requirements.
• Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders at all levels.
• Develop, configure, and optimize service monitoring and telemetry.
• Assist rollout and deployment of new product features and installations.
• Develop tools to accelerate deployment and monitoring in a large-scale environment.
• Collaborate with development teams to design platforms with operability in mind.

• Responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of gaming platform services
• Monitor and manage the core gaming platform to ensure SLAs are met
• Build and manage systems, infrastructure services and applications through automation
• Develop strategy, processes, and shape our existing infrastructure and support procedures
• Regularly check code into our CI/CD pipelines

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will serve as a primary point responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of gaming platform services. This could potentially entail troubleshooting issues across the entire stack: hardware, software, application and network, and other days, identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for the company.
• Gain deep application-level knowledge of the systems as well as contributing to their overall design and drive standardization efforts across multiple disciplines an services
• Manage timely resolution of all critical and/or complex problems meeting SLA requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and stakeholders
• Develop, configure and optimize service and application monitoring and telemetry
• Assisst in the rollouts and deployment of new product features and installations
• Develop tools to improve our ability to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor applications and services in a large-scale environment
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that platforms are designed with "operability" in mind.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5 to 7 of experience as SRE or Devops and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Proven successful track record of running a multi-node/ multi-tier web application architectures, maintaining long-lived APIs and microservices
• Experience with Persisted Key/Value store technologies such as ETCD or Redis
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Github Actions & Jenkins
• Experience with Continuous Deployment tools such as Argo CD
• Senior level experience using Kubernetes, Kubernetes package managers such as Helm and Helmfile and, Kubernetes Orchestration such as OpenShift
• Experience with Configuration Management tools such as Ansible
• Senior level experience with Message Streaming / Message Queueing tools such as RabbitMQ & Kafka
