Celonis is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for Design Operations in Madrid to build and own the AI-powered design platform. You’ll bridge design, engineering, and product, shipping internal tooling, automation, and agent-pipeline infrastructure while ensuring quality, security, and brand consistency.

You’ll work with designers, PMs, and engineers to evolve the system and enable scalable, AI-assisted workflows.

Formación

• 5–8 years across design engineering or tooling with design/UX sensibility
• Strong UX instincts and HTML/CSS front-end craft
• Figma at organizational level and its plugin/rest APIs
• Track record of improving tooling to aid design or product teams
• Hands-on fluency with AI tooling and governance
• Strong product mindset and ownership; senior IC
• Experience building/operating MCP servers or similar AI infra
• Experience standing up AI tool governance at org scale
• Familiarity with design tokens and Code Connect, including Angular/TypeScript and CSS vars
• Experience building dashboards/telemetry for tooling adoption
• Background in complex B2B/enterprise data environments

Responsabilidades

• Engineer the agent pipeline: stand up MCP servers, context pipelines, and integrations with AI coding agents
• Automate governance-as-code: CI checks, release automation, and policy enforcement
• Own and govern the AI tool stack: evaluate, integrate, license, roll out tools; security/IP review
• Instrument and report on impact: telemetry and dashboards for design-system and AI-tool adoption
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to evolve the design system and workflows
• Build prompt and template infrastructure, reusable prompts, specs, and starter kits
• Set tooling and operations standards, lead platform initiatives, and mentor designers and engineers
