Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Granada is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead data centre construction programmes. You will drive governance, cost control, schedules and stakeholder management to ensure delivery quality on complex projects.

The role requires at least 5 years in construction, fluency in English and Spanish, on-site presence five days a week, and proven leadership across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or a construction-related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction industry.
• Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
• Proven leadership experience with cross-functional collaboration across teams.
• High commercial awareness including project forecasting and financials.
• Solid understanding of contract documents, specs and project plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and construction project management software.
• Basic knowledge of construction estimation and financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage governance, communication and management control systems for delivery of services and works.
• Review organisational structures and recommend alignment measures.
• Monitor team performance and drive safety or performance improvements.
• Audit compliance with management system requirements and report as required.
• Actively participate in project risk management and mitigation activities.
• Lead weekly technical and progress meetings and manage gateways and approvals.
• Ensure design deliverables meet schedule and quality, including fast-track procurements and permitting.
• Conduct daily site progress reviews focusing on HSE, logistics and programme.
• Produce weekly, monthly and ad-hoc progress reports and present to Employer’s representative.
• Manage and administer contracts to protect the client’s interests and issue invoices timely.
