Job summary

Turner & Townsend is expanding its Data Centre team in Spain, seeking Civil & Construction Professionals to join. You will act as Owner's Representative during construction and commissioning, overseeing site activities and coordinating changes. Based in Badajoz or willing to travel for on-site work five days a week.

The role requires fluent Spanish and English, strong communication and teamwork, and the ability to manage interfaces between CSA, MEP and project management teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in site supervision, construction management for industrial/infrastructure projects; data centre construction is a plus.
• Knowledge of civil, structural and architectural construction methods and site execution practices.
• Experience coordinating interfaces between CSA, MEP, commissioning, and project management teams.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control CSA engineering changes during project execution and site implementation.
• Verify civil, structural and architectural works meet drawings, specs and quality standards.
• Supervise and coordinate civil, structural and architectural construction activities.
• Monitor contractor performance, schedule adherence and milestone achievement.
• Oversee site installation activities and handover readiness.
• Provide technical support and field coordination during construction and commissioning.
• Ensure teams follow latest drawings, specs, procedures and documentation.
• Attend progress meetings with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Identify, document and manage construction issues and deviations.
• Witness inspections and verify completed works per quality requirements.
• Review progress reporting and completed quantities.
• Support punch list management, close-out and warranty activities.
• Monitor HSE compliance across CSA activities.
• Coordinate interfaces between CSA and other disciplines for timely completion.
• Identify risks and mitigation actions.
