Semidynamics in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Emulation Engineer to drive end-to-end emulation for a multi-core compute subsystem, from setup to verification at scale. This hands-on role requires deep expertise in emulation, testbenches, transactors, and coherency debugging, with a focus on validating next‑generation silicon.

The role demands 10+ years in verification, 4+ years in emulation setup, and experience in C/assembly test debugging for multicore systems.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of verification experience.
• 4+ years in emulation setup and debug of SoC or large subsystems.
• Experience in C-based or assembly test debugging for multicore systems.
• Coherency concepts understood.

Responsibilities

• Setup the Emulation Build for the Compute Tile.
• Testbench modifications for emulation setup.
• Development of transactors for proprietary protocols.
• Sanity regression for emulation.
• Debug the coherency test suites to achieve high coverage.
