N26 is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead proactive threat identification and mitigate security risks across our AWS infrastructure. Collaborate with Platform and Data teams to safeguard data and ensure secure cloud operations.

You will design and deploy cloud-native security solutions, perform threat modeling, monitor vulnerabilities, and drive security maturity improvements across our cloud environment.

Formación

• Experience securing AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containers and Linux systems.
• Experience with assessing security findings and mitigations.
• Knowledge of STRIDE, MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP.
• Understanding cloud data security challenges and best practices.
• Experience deploying and customizing security tools to address threats and reduce risk.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Terraform) for automated security testing and change management.
• Hands-on with modern cloud components: VMs, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, IaC.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go for automation.
• Experience with ethical hacking and penetration testing methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Cloud Infrastructure Security roadmap aligned with Product Manager, Tech Lead, and Engineering Manager.
• Define and drive initiatives to proactively identify and mitigate security threats in AWS infrastructure.
• Design, deploy and maintain cloud-native security solutions with data protection, threat detection, and automated controls.
• Research new attack vectors and perform threat modeling sessions with stakeholders.
• Monitor vulnerabilities and coordinate with teams to mitigate risk.
• Define pentesting scope and scenarios.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and guidelines.
• Provide high-quality support to stakeholders via the security portal.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead security incidents.
