Job summary

Sani/Ikos Group is seeking a senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud environments across development and production. You will own IaC, CI/CD, security, and cost governance while guiding a team of engineers.

You will collaborate with Technology, Data and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into cloud architectures for data platforms, analytics and guest experience applications. English B2+ and seniority required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cloud, infra, platform or DevOps engineering with production workloads.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure; other clouds a plus and Azure certs welcome.
• Strong fundamentals in networking, OS, databases, APIs and security.

Responsibilities

• Own design, deployment, configuration and lifecycle of cloud infra across environments.
• Architect and manage storage, compute, networking, databases and integration services.
• Define observability, incident response, DR, scalability, and cost optimization strategies.
• Lead IaC, automation and CI/CD, establish patterns and standards.
• Translate requirements with stakeholders into cloud architectures for data platforms and ML/GenAI solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Own the design, deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure and services across development, and production environments.
• Architect and manage cloud-based storage, compute, networking, databases, and integration services, ensuring secure, reliable, and cost-efficient environments.
• Define and drive observability, incident response, troubleshooting, performance optimization, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies for cloud resources and services.
• Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and CI/CD practices, establishing reusable patterns and standards that improve the consistency, speed, and quality of cloud deployments.
• Partner with Technology, Data, and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into cloud architectures for applications, data platforms, ML, and GenAI solutions.
• Design and operate production-grade cloud environments for solutions including data platforms, analytics, sales forecasting, chatbots, or guest experience applications.
• Enforce cloud security, identity and access management, governance, compliance, and FinOps / cost optimization practices.
• Drive the cloud technology roadmap and the continuous improvement of modern, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, lead technical design reviews, and promote engineering best practices across the team.

About You

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in cloud, infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering, including designing and running production workloads at scale.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure; experience with other major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and relevant professional certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
• Deep understanding of networking, operating systems, databases, APIs, security, and infrastructure concepts, with a proven track record of cloud architecture design.
• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation, and with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and/or scripting, plus solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Proven experience with cloud security, IAM, monitoring, logging, and cost management in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, including mentoring engineers, leading design decisions, and communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• English B2 level or above.
