Job summary

Sani/Ikos Group in Madrid seeks a senior data & AI architect to lead end-to-end Azure-based data platforms. You will design scalable pipelines, implement ML workflows, and drive production readiness across global resorts.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end data and AI infrastructure on Azure.
• Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Set up and manage Azure Container Instances or Azure Kubernetes Service for scalable deployments.
• Build and maintain Azure ML environments, including Feature Store for feature engineering and reuse.
• Build production-ready ML environments, enabling rapid deployment and monitoring of models.
• Define and enforce best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
• Collaborate with IT, Data and AI teams to integrate models into production workflows.
• Act as a technical problem-solver, identifying and implementing innovative solutions for new challenges.
• Mentor and guide the team as we scale, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization across all data and AI infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end data and AI infrastructure leveraging on Azure ecosystem (Data Factory, Azure ML, ACI, Feature Store...).
• Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and other Azure services.
• Set up and manage Azure Container Instances or / and Azure Kubernetes Service for scalable deployments.
• Build and maintain Azure ML environments, including Feature Store for feature engineering and reuse.
• Build production-ready ML environments, enabling rapid deployment and monitoring of models.
• Define and enforce best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.

About You

• 9+ years of experience in designing and deploying scalable data and AI solutions for global enterprises.
• Proven track record in real-time systems, production ML pipelines, and high-availability architectures.
• Deep knowledge of Azure services: Data Factory, Azure ML, Container Instances, Storage.
• Strong proficiency in Python, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
• Expertise in feature engineering, feature stores, and ML lifecycle management.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to deliver under ambiguity.
