Job summary

Sani/Ikos Group seeks an AI Project Manager to lead multiple AI initiatives from discovery to delivery and post-launch value tracking. The role blends hands-on project leadership with analytical depth, coordinating data scientists, engineers and external partners while aligning with business owners on scope and outcomes.

You will work across Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management, Operations and corporate functions to ensure disciplined execution, adoption, and measurable impact.

Job description

As AI Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of multiple AI initiatives within Sani/Ikos Group’s Data & AI office, working across business teams and technical capabilities to turn ideas into measurable value. Reporting to the AI Programs Lead, you will own projects end to end: from discovery and business case definition through delivery, adoption and post-launch value tracking.

This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong project leadership with analytical depth and practical experience using GenAI tools. You will work closely with internal clients from areas such as Marketing, Sales and Revenue Management, Operations and corporate functions, while coordinating data scientists, engineers, architects and external partners to ensure clear scope, disciplined execution and successful adoption.

What you will do

• Lead two to three AI projects in parallel, owning scope, plan, budget, resourcing, risks, decisions, status and delivery milestones.
• Act as the single point of contact for business owners, aligning priorities, expectations and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Steer technical delivery across data science, engineering, architecture and partner teams without direct line management, ensuring clear backlog, acceptance criteria, blocker removal and quality control.
• Shape initiatives in discovery using GenAI tools, prompt-based exploration, agents, copilots, prototypes and data analysis to define the end product and measure of success.
• Analyse business challenges independently, structure the problem, work with available data, extract insight and present concise recommendations to ExCo or C-level stakeholders.
• Plan and support adoption at go-live, including communication, training, usage tracking, value measurement and feedback loops for the next iteration.
• Prepare project updates, KPIs, risks and spend for the AI Programs Lead and relevant Data & AI and Commercial forums.
• Apply group standards on build-or-buy decisions, data quality, security, documentation and business concept definitions.

What success looks like in the first 12 months

• Two or more projects delivered to production and actively in use, with signed scope, agreed tolerance on plan and measured results.
• At least two initiatives shaped in discovery with the business, supported by a prototype and a business case ready for forum review.
• Business challenges analysed and presented to senior stakeholders with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Business owners and technical teams see you as the person who drives decisions, removes blockers and keeps delivery moving.

Required qualifications and experience

• 8+ years’ experience running data and AI projects with internal or external clients and delivery teams.
• Proven track record of delivering several projects in parallel.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI tools in real work, including prompting, agent-type tools, quick prototypes and output evaluation.
• Working knowledge of Python; experience with SQL is strongly valued.
• Strong analytical background with the ability to structure business problems, build insight from data and create a clear storyline.
• Experience presenting to senior management or ExCo-level stakeholders.
• Background in consulting and analytics delivery.
• Fluent English (C1) is required; Spanish is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, economics or a related field.
