Job summary

Affi is reinventing credit cards and seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering (Card) to lead integrations with partners, processors, and internationalization. Remote in Spain with visa sponsorship, you will drive AI-enabled engineering excellence and own technical direction across EU and US stakeholders.

You will mentor managers, shape a scalable architecture, and champion high accountability across teams to deliver reliable, high‑performing card services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years managing engineering teams
• 2+ years managing managers
• Experience leading multi-team engineering org through multi-year strategy
• Ability to guide architecture, reliability and quality decisions

Responsibilities

• Hire the right people and grow teams in Spain and Poland
• Set high standards and strong team culture
• Define technical direction and long-term roadmap for Cards
• Lead with AI focus to build fast and improve processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders across all teams to achieve business results
• Create ownership culture with high accountability for scale and efficiency
• Mentor and lead managers and engineers
• On-Call Rotation as part of role
