Job summary

ERNI is seeking a senior software architect to define the software framework for a next‑generation medical robotics platform. You will apply Modern C++, QNX/RTOS, and EtherCAT in safety‑critical, IEC 62304 compliant systems, bridging robotics and embedded software.

You will own the software architecture across robotic and embedded domains, define interfaces and safety mechanisms, mentor teams, lead cybersecurity and connectivity work, and support regulatory documentation and agile delivery in a

• 7+ years of software engineering with architecture or leadership in embedded/real-time systems.
• Expert knowledge of Modern C++, RTOS environments (QNX) and EtherCAT-based real-time control systems.
• Experience developing regulated medical device software under IEC 62304, ISO 14971 and ISO 13485.
• Strong background in testing practices including CI, code coverage, static and dynamic analysis and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Fluent Spanish and strong English communication skills.

What you will bring
