Job summary

ERNI is seeking a senior software engineer to help engineers build the next generation of industrial automation software. You will work on a project for configuration and programming in manufacturing, applying C# and .NET to desktop applications and solid software architecture.

As a senior member of an international team, you will have autonomy, mentoring opportunities, and a clear path for career growth. The role is hybrid with ~40-hour weeks and regular collaboration across global engineering

Can you imagine helping engineers build the next generation of industrial automation software?

Join our expert team to work on an Industrial Automation project, contributing to the development of software solutions used for configuration and programming in manufacturing environments. You will apply your knowledge of C#, .NET, desktop applications and software architecture to build scalable and high-quality products within a global engineering team

With people. Besides your team and manager, you will have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months.

And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You will have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you will work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What you will bring

• Strong experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
• Experience designing desktop applications and applying SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and code quality practices including unit testing and code reviews.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional level of English.

You will be responsible for transforming business requirements into software specifications and features while designing and implementing new functionalities. You will participate in code and design reviews, collaborate with global engineering teams, improve product quality, solve technical challenges and contribute to the continuous evolution of software solutions used in industrial automation environments.

Our working model

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team, but we love seeing each other’s faces; the best stories always happen in the office!
