Job summary

Accenture is leading a multi-year banking modernization program in Spain, delivering complex SI across KYC, CEP, and RPA/BOTs with a hybrid delivery model. The BA/Architect Lead owns end-to-end requirements and provides architectural grounding for implementable designs.

Role requires client-facing governance, offshore coordination, and quality gate enforcement, with a strong focus on translating business context into precise specs for distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in business analysis or functional architecture.
• At least 4 years on systems integration (SI) programs in a consulting or delivery environment.
• Deep understanding of retail and commercial banking operations (KYC/AML, client lifecycle, estates & inheritance, complaints, core banking workflows).
• Proven track record delivering BRDs, functional specs, and process designs on fixed-milestone SI engagements.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to navigate complex governance structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead BRD authoring across KYC, Estates, CEP with client stakeholders.
• Define functional labels and traceability; produce design specs for AI-assisted development.
• Enforce BA scope boundaries and coordinate with architects on To-Be design.
• Run workshops and discovery sessions in English; translate outputs to English artefacts if needed.
• Participate in stage-gate reviews, CAB governance, and quality checkpoints.
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and dependencies; escalate with documentation.
• Support test strategy and UAT execution; sign off on test outcomes.
• Contribute to program-level architecture decisions on data flows and platform constraints.
