Edition Barcelona is seeking a full-time non-management hospitality professional to welcome guests, answer questions about wine origin, vintage, and style, and ensure stock quality and restock as needed.

You will handle bottle service, close cash at shift end, maintain security of liquor and storage, assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching; and uphold Marriott's standards in a luxury environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Answer guest questions about origin, vintage, and style of wines.
• Check stock quality and quantity; requisition supplies.
• Prepare drinks for guests according to recipes using measuring systems.
• Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles.
• Count bank at end of shift; complete cashier reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching employees.
• Follow safety and security policies; report accidents and complete safety training.
• Maintain professional appearance and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests; communicate clearly with colleagues.
• Develop positive working relationships with staff and guests.
