Yuno is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join the Checkout Team, building the core transaction engine behind fast, scalable checkout flows. You will work on high-throughput payment processing systems with a focus on reliability, security, and maintainability.

The role emphasizes Kotlin/Go as core stacks, with expansive opportunities to impact payments, fraud prevention, and global processing across multiple regions.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in a modern, statically-typed backend language (Kotlin/Go).
• Deep expertise with payment processing concepts.
• Solid understanding of microservices architectures, including production operations.
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL) and data modeling for financial systems.
• Containerization and cloud infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or GCP).
• English — fluent written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• High-performance backend services — design, build, and evolve APIs in Kotlin and Go for reliability, low latency, and scale.
• Checkout payment flows — manage authorization, capture, refunds, reversals, and partial payments across providers.
• Event-driven microservices — architect resilient services using event-driven patterns (Kafka, queues).
• Integration framework — expand the framework connecting Yuno to PSPs, acquirers, and payment gateways.
• Security and compliance — apply OWASP principles and PCI-DSS practices to ensure security and privacy.
• End-to-end ownership — own features from design to production monitoring and operation.
