PayXpert, a payments pioneer, seeks a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and evolve backend services across PHP and Java/Kotlin stacks. You will own core components, ensure secure transaction flows and collaborate across product, QA, and release teams in an agile environment.

The role demands high autonomy, strong security focus, and experience in payments or fintech. Fluency in English is required; Spanish or French are a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7–10 years of total backend development experience, including secure, high‑risk systems.
• 4–6 years in senior PHP/Java/Kotlin backend roles, owning production services.
• Experience with REST‑based architectures and service‑oriented systems.
• Familiar with Git, GitLab, Docker, CI/CD pipelines and issue tracking.
• Experience using AI coding assistants with security and data confidentiality.
• Experience in payments/fintech environments is a strong plus.
• Fluent English mandatory; French/Spanish a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain payment‑oriented backend services across PHP and Java/Kotlin stacks.
• Own backend components end‑to‑end, ensuring security, reliability and performance.
• Review AI‑assisted code for security, accuracy and compliance before production.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and cross‑functional teams using agile methods.
• Provide technical support for complex production issues and future‑proofing.
