Yuno is building cross-border payment infrastructure with a modern data platform powering insights for product teams and clients. We seek a Staff Engineer who will shape architecture, lead data pipelines, and raise engineering standards to deliver reliable, fast data across the organization.

You will partner with Product, AI, and Finance teams, mentor engineers, and help ensure data quality and governance while operating in a remote, international setup.

Formación

• 8+ years of data/ software engineering experience, including staff or principal level.
• ,
• Deep expertise in designing large-scale data platforms with streaming/batch/hybrid architectures.
• Hands-on with Spark, Flink, Kafka, StarRocks or equivalent.
• Strong Python and SQL skills across multiple languages.
• Solid data modeling knowledge (dimensional modeling, Data Vault, lakehouse).
• Experience with cloud data infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Data quality, observability and governance expertise.
• Ability to lead initiatives across teams without direct authority; English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Define architecture within the data platform and deliver initiatives end-to-end.

• Lead scalable, low-latency pipelines processing high-volume payments in real time.
• Champion AI-first engineering, with standards for AI-powered development and data workflows.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and product managers.
