N26 is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for Payments in a hybrid role across Europe. You’ll join the Everyday Banking domain to build and maintain high-volume payment and card processing systems, collaborating across cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Formación

• Experience developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (Kotlin is a plus)
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres
• Appreciation of modern cloud architecture, preferably AWS

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with your Tech Lead on architecting new features and delivering them to completion
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in a fast-paced environment
• Mentor junior teammates and uphold code quality through PRs and guidance
• Stay up-to-date with trends and share findings during Get Stuff Done Days (GSDD)
• Work with cross-functional teams to maintain high technical standards across the product
