N26 is reimagining banking for today's digital world with a Payments team focused on high-volume systems. This iOS engineer role is hybrid, based in Barcelona or Berlin, and empowers you to build secure, reliable mobile experiences for customers.

You will work in cross-functional teams, own features, and embrace the latest tech while contributing to a well-tested, well-documented codebase. Relocation and visa support are available.

Formación

• Experience with Android and Material Design principles.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and reactive programming (Kotlin Flows and Coroutines).
• Focus on testable software and dependency injection.
• Nice to have Jetpack Compose experience.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

About the Opportunity

You will work in the Everyday Banking domain, within the Payments Team. This is where all payment and card transactions are being managed and processed by modern & high-volume systems that power the best customer experience possible. These teams make banking easy, reliable, seamless and secure - everyday for every customer.

This is a hybrid role from Barcelona or Berlin.

Our cross-functional teams are passionate about collaboration and sharing knowledge, as well as working with a high degree of autonomy. As an iOS Engineer at N26, you will be encouraged to embrace the latest technological updates and given a platform to work on complex, interesting problems on a daily basis.

In this role, you will:

• Work in cross-functional teams, understand how the entire puzzle fits together instead of just being a solitary piece
• Take ownership and have an impact on the product
• Ask "Why?" and be prepared to be asked, "What do you think about it?"
• Engage in knowledge-sharing within your team as well as beyond
• Understand and work with Agile development methodologies

What you need to be successful:

• Thorough experience with the Android Platform and Material Design principles
• Experience with Kotlin
• Experience with Reactive programming - Kotlin Flows and Coroutines
• Able to build software with a focus on testability - Test/Behaviour Driven Development, Dependency Injection
• Experience with Jetpack Compose (nice to have)

Skills:

• Be highly motivated and a fast learner
• Strong bias for action, and getting things done
• Language Skills: full professional proficiency in English
