Grafana Labs in Spain is seeking a Senior Engineer for Pyroscope to shape the next generation of open-source profiling within a remote, globally distributed team. You will own end-to-end projects, collaborate across Grafana squads, and drive performance, scalability, and cost optimization.

You will work on ingestion, storage, and query components, design interfaces for AI-assisted profiling, and contribute to open source, with a strong emphasis on reliability, code quality, and customer value.

Formación

• Solid experience with a systems language (Go) and distributed systems in production.
• Strong open-source background and ability to engage with the community.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, and profiling tooling.
• Comfort translating customer pain points into deliverables without a dedicated PM.

Responsabilidades

• Lead projects from concept to rollout, including design, delivery, operations, and customer follow‑up.
• Design, build, and operate core components of a distributed database: ingestion, storage, and query.
• Wear the product hat and influence roadmap through customer interactions and code reviews.
• Drive operational excellence with concrete SLOs and cost targets; reduce toil via automation.
