Pliant is hiring a (Senior) Software Engineer - Backend - Growth. You will join a cross-functional team of frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and designers to build a scalable banking platform and maintain robust AFC compliance.

The Growth team focuses on onboarding, risk controls, and credit-management throughout the customer journey. This role offers remote flexibility within a fast-growing fintech, with high-impact work and exposure to cutting-edge payments infrastructure that

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong REST API design and implementation.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with AWS and containerized deployments (Docker).
• Strong automation testing skills and CI/CD mindset.
• Knowledge of distributed architecture patterns and anti-patterns.

Responsabilités

• Conception, definition, and further development of our banking platform.
• Ensure a scalable, maintainable, and secure microservice architecture.
• Implementation of integration and E2E tests.
