N26 is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Customer Risk Lifecycle team, contributing to secure, scalable services across the platform. You will collaborate with a Tech Lead to design, implement and maintain features while mentoring teammates and upholding code quality.

English proficiency is required, with offices in Berlin and Barcelona. The role offers a modern cloud stack and vibrant, multinational collaboration.

Formación

Experience developing software with a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems.
Strong understanding of microservice architectures.
Knowledge of relational databases (Postgres) and some NoSQL experience is a plus.
Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
Full professional proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

Collaborate with the Tech Lead to architect and deliver new features end-to-end.
Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain services in a production environment.
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and guidance.
Keep up with trends and present findings during team sessions.
Collaborate in cross-functional teams to uphold high technical standards across the product.
