N26 is hiring a Junior Backend Engineer focused on Customer Identity in Barcelona. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to architect, build, test, deploy and maintain the identity verification stack powering onboarding across European markets.

You will work in a fast-paced, autonomy-driven environment, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute ideas during Get Stuff Done Days. The role includes relocation support and a focus on secure, compliant banking services.

Formación

• Experience building software with a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale systems.
• Strong understanding of microservices and cloud architecture.
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and AWS.

We own the full identity verification stack that powers N26's customer onboarding — from KYC verification orchestration and provider integrations (video identification, document verification, biometric screening) to the regulatory compliance checks that keep our banking licence in good standing.
