N26 is hiring a Junior Backend Engineer focused on Customer Identity in Barcelona. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to architect, build, test, deploy and maintain the identity verification stack powering onboarding across European markets.

You will work in a fast-paced, autonomy-driven environment, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute ideas during Get Stuff Done Days. The role includes relocation support and a focus on secure, compliant banking services.

Formación

• Experience building software with a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale systems.
• Strong understanding of microservices and cloud architecture.
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and AWS.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the Tech Lead to architect new features and deliver end-to-end.
• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in a dynamic environment.
• Mentor junior team members and uphold code quality through reviews.
• Stay current with tech trends and contribute ideas during Get Stuff Done Days.
• Work within a cross-functional team to uphold high technical standards.
