Pluxee is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Payments Squad, building the engine that moves money globally. You will design resilient services, evolve distributed architectures, and ensure high-quality testing and observability. Collaboration with React/React Native teams is common, with a focus on backend excellence.

The role emphasizes data consistency, fault-tolerant systems, and leadership in technical standards, while leveraging AI tools to speed up delivery.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience developing production-grade backend applications.
• Experience within the Node.js ecosystem is a plus.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, idempotency and data consistency.
• Familiarity with payment gateways, ledger systems, or reconciliation is beneficial.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Design for resilience: build and optimize backend services to handle high-volume traffic with data consistency and reliability.
• Evolve distributed architectures into scalable, event-driven systems for global product needs.
• Ensure high-quality releases with unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Maintain observability and monitoring in production to identify bottlenecks and anomalies.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and engineering standards.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and automate repetitive tasks.
