Pluxee España is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Payments Squad and build the engine that moves money globally. You’ll design robust backend services, ensure data consistency, and participate in testing and code reviews.

Work with React/React Native teams, mentor juniors, and leverage GenAI tools to accelerate delivery. Fluent Spanish and English required; on-site role in Galicia.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience developing production-grade applications.
• Experience within the Node.js ecosystem is a plus.
• Deep understanding of race conditions, eventual consistency, idempotency, and message brokers.
• Experience with banking systems, payment gateways, ledger systems, or reconciliation processes is a plus.
• Strong testing mindset and experience with automated testing patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain high-volume backend services with focus on consistency and reliability.
• Perform thorough unit, integration, and acceptance testing; conduct load and performance testing.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and document engineering standards.
• Collaborate with React/React Native teams; focus on backend while coordinating with the payments domain.
