Ebury in Madrid is seeking a Senior API Engineer to help scale our main web application and empower product teams with robust backend services. You’ll own backend components, design new services using RFC processes, and ensure reliable deployments with CI/CD and IaC support.

You’ll collaborate across teams, mentor juniors, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. English communication is essential for our international teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience building high-performance web apps.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and OO/functional design.
• Experience with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, REST APIs.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS.
• Experience with IAM and Keycloak.
• Strong system architecture, API design, and scaling skills.
• Proficient Linux, cloud, networking, and databases.
• Proficient Git usage and collaboration in English.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to developing platform channels and new products.
• Design services using RFC process with engineers.
• Own the products you build including maintenance.
• Containerize code and implement monitoring/alerts.
• Write tests with unit and integration coverage.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence.
• Occasional on-call duties.
