Job summary

WorkMotion, a remote-first company enabling global talent management, is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (AI-Focused) to join our Engineering Team. The role focuses on driving AI-assisted QA strategies across web, API, and backend services in a fast-paced, borderless environment.

You will design automated test suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and mentor peers while applying AI-enhanced testing techniques to accelerate delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
• Experience with test automation frameworks like Cypress or Playwright.
• Testing RESTful APIs with Postman, REST Assured, or Insomnia.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of version control with Git.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and backend services.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor results.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in test automation.
• Investigate and report bugs with detailed reproduction steps and logs.
• Ensure test data, environments, and tools are aligned with team needs.
• Contribute to quality culture and improve testing processes.
