Roche invites a Senior FinOps Engineer to lead cloud financial management, optimize AI-driven cost strategies, and champion new FinOps tools across AWS, Azure and GCP. You will mentor engineers and finance partners while shaping the financial governance model for the AI Factory.

You will translate data into actionable insights, drive strategic initiatives, and contribute to global events and CoEs, ensuring clarity and cost efficiency in Roche's digital product lifecycle.

Formación

• Experience managing large cloud workloads and multi-cloud architectures (Serverless, Kubernetes, AI/ML Infra).
• Proven cloud finance control, budgeting and cost-efficiency strategies.
• Leadership experience coaching engineers and finance partners at scale.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Finance, or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP pricing models.
• Programming in Python, Go or JavaScript and API/UI development experience.
• Experience with Cloud Cost Analysis tools (e.g., Cloudability) and ServiceNow CMDB.
• IaC expertise with Terraform, CDK or CloudFormation.
• Ability to represent Roche at global FinOps events and AI cost-management discussions.
• Fluent English with Spanish or German a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates and integrates FinOps tools and methodologies to optimize cloud costs.
• Leads AI FinOps initiatives balancing performance with cost rationalization.
• Drives medium-to-large initiatives to improve cloud financial models across products.
• Manages governance activities including monthly accruals and future consumption forecasting.
• Builds and enforces cloud cost reporting systems and automated monitoring scripts.
• Mentors FinOps team members on best practices.
• Engages with vendors and internal stakeholders to align financial objectives.
