Neurons Lab seeks an AI Architect to lead end-to-end technical decisions for a private, redeployable solution for a European investment group. You will design ontologies, retrieval, and agent layers, and stand up secure deployments, while reporting to CTO/CEO in governance reviews.

You will architect connectors across HubSpot, email, Slack, and internal systems and ensure strict RBAC/ABAC controls, with a focus on portability and regulatory compliance. The role is full-time in Spain.

Formación

• 7+ years hands-on AI/ML engineering, with 2+ years building LLM/agentic systems in production.
• 3+ years as technical lead or architect on client-facing delivery.
• Ontology / knowledge-graph work over enterprise data.
• Experience with regulated or security-sensitive clients and private deployment.
• Experience in consulting or a services business.
• Senior technical person on a 2.5-FTE pod with founders as sparring partners

Responsabilidades

• Run the Sprint 1 decision spike and write the decision record.
• Design the ontology / semantic layer for the group.
• Architect the connector layer for HubSpot, mail, Slack and internal systems.
• Design role-scoped retrieval with role-based access enforcement.
• Architect the agent layer for executive roles and OKR drift coaching.
• Stand up the private deployment — VPC / on-prem / managed.
• Build the eval and observability harness with tests and dashboards.
• Establish standards and failure-mode design with audit trails.
• Stay hands-on and keep the build portable for redeployment.
• Explain architecture to a C-level audience in reviews
