Job summary

Pluxee is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead day-to-day accounting for the Spanish entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting under IFRS and local GAAP. You will drive month-, quarter-, and year-end closes, work with internal and external auditors, and partner with Group Finance on policy alignment.

You will oversee a hybrid Madrid-based role, mentor staff, and contribute to transformations within a multinational, high-impact company focused on employee benefits.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Big 4 audit background highly preferred.
• Experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting and statutory accounting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure statutory and management reporting under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and strengthen controls.
• Collaborate with Group Finance to align with corporate policies.
• Mentor accounting staff and support finance transformation initiatives.
